Our Mission
If you owned your own company, what would you want it to be like? Would you want its sole purpose to be making money, money, money? Or would you want it to run on a deeper level?
When we started simplyneutral, we came to the table with honest intentions to make natural products that do what they say they will. But, that was only part of our dream. What we really wanted was to do business in a way that cherishes life and improves the world.
That may sound naïve and frivolous, but when we look at other value-driven companies, we know it's possible.
So we cut up business cards from used cereal boxes to start a conversation about reusing and recycling. And, we ordered bottles made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic (even though the cost made our jaws drop) because they use less energy to produce. And, we laid awake at night thinking about how we can move products from one location to the next with the smallest carbon footprint possible. And, we promised ourselves that we would always put people and the planet in front of, or—at the very least—alongside, profits.
If you started a company, isn't that what you'd do?
We're all in this together,
Sara and Maggie
