My three-year-old wants to do everything I do (which is both good and bad!). The other day I cleaned the bathroom and, after I finished with the shower, I decided to turn on the water for a quick rinse-off shower. My son was sleeping and my daughter was coloring at the table and preoccupied for a few minutes (or so I thought). When I got out of my shower and stepped into the hallway, the floor was wet. Before I could even ask my daughter what had happened, she came around the corner holding the cleaning solution I was just using! My daughter, playing with my bathroom cleaning solution! She had sprayed the spray all over and was now standing in front of me with both the spray solution and the scrub I had used in the shower. But here is the good part. Instead of calling a poison center, I knew all was well. I knew that she was safe despite my mistake of leaving the cleaning supplies within her reach. I knew this because I was using your natural cleaning products. In that moment, I fell even deeper in love with your simplyneutral cleaners.
- Jessie Thompson We purchased a new, white Alumacraft boat in the spring of 2009. When we brought it home, we drove over fresh tar pothole patches, which are common in Minnesota in the spring. The tar spattered along the sides of the boat. We tried carwash cleaner, vinegar, and dish soap, but nothing would take off the ugly brown residue left on the finish after we picked the tar off. Having had success using your scrub and all-purpose cleaner to remove tough, burnt-on food around my gas oven burners, we decided to try it on the tar stains left on the boat. We sprayed the all-purpose cleaner and added a little scrub and rubbed it gently. The mixture took the tar stains right off. When we were done, we hosed the boat down and it looked new again. No scratches or residue left.
- Jill and Randy Lyon I've had eczema and allergies most of my life. It doesn't take much for my skin to react and my eyes to feel itchy. So, whenever I cleaned, I paid the price. Even if I protected my hands with rubber gloves, I felt the after effects. When I heard about simplyneutral, I tried it reluctantly. But, for the first time in my adult life, I can actually clean WITHOUT using gloves. My hands and skin don't have a reaction. And, I don't get the usual itchy eyes. But, what really puts it over the edge for me is the way it works. I can get things clean with minimal scrubbing. It's so nice to have a product that works and doesn't make me sick. And, I love the smell, too! Thanks!
- Dana Laudenbach I own a SVO (straight veggie oil) car that runs on used cooking oil. Unfortunately, spills are inevitable. If you have ever dealt with this kind of spill, you know it is nearly impossible to wipe up. It is comparable to glue. Recently, I spilled some in the back of my Mercedes-Benz and thought I would give simplyneutral all-purpose cleaner a try. I let it soak in for a few minutes and, to my amazement, it got it out! Up until then, nothing else had worked; not even toxic cleaners. simplyneutral wins-in a big way!
- Ramy Selim, Sunny Day Earth Solutions I used several green products in our home with good results, but when I tried them in a commercial setting, they weren't tough enough. I needed something that really worked, yet was affordable. Your product did just what it said it was going to do. Everyone was thrilled. And, the fact that it's green just makes it even better.
- Lisa Freitag, Long and Son Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial One of the subjects we get a lot of questions on here at SafeMama', is about non-toxic, earth friendly cleaning products. And I'll admit, I'm always on the lookout for these products too. The majority of the stuff that I've used, doesn't work, or it still smells funny and I have to wonder exactly what's in it. Because of this, I usually fall back to my old standby: vinegar, water and baking soda, which works great, but there are times, that I don't want my house to smell like a salad bar, and I still need a glass cleaner that cuts through toddler finger prints, dog drool and water stains, to name a few. We have a kid, we have dogs, which means this house never stays clean for more than 3 nanoseconds. So when I stumbled upon simplyneutral cleaning products during my research, I was excited. I put it through my "stainless steel" test. And it passed with flying colors. The only other thing that works on my fridge is vinegar. simplyneutral's cleaner made my fridge sparkle with no streaks. My husband loved the green tea and citrus all-purpose cleaner (what, you don't have a husband who cleans?), especially the scent, which is big, because he's really picky about scents. The non-abrasive cleaner cuts through the toughest grease without scratching. Not only do I feel clean, but I don't feel worried that the products I'm using might still be unsafe.
- safemama.com It goes without saying that any product I put on my list of favorites is effective, but simplyneutral cleaners stood up to every test, from a ceramic cooktop with caked-on sauce to white sneakers that needed a thorough scrubbing. But their cleaning power isn't what impressed me most about these cleaners. I was more than a little surprised at how light the shipping box was when I received them. That was with good reason. The bottles were very nearly empty with, at best, an ounce or two of cleaning liquid in them. There was a note attached: simplyneutral's goal is not only to protect our customers, but also the planet. To reduce our carbon footprint, we have shipped you our "waterless" version of cleaners. Our concentrate is already in the bottle, you just need to add the water. At first, I was thrown for a loop. To receive large, 32 oz. bottles of cleaning products that were nearly empty was crazy, or was it? It definitely showed my husband and I just how much water we're paying for when we purchase traditional, full bottles. And even after all that diluting, the cleaners were still incredibly potent and effective. On top of that, their business card was stamped on a piece of recycled cereal box. I'm not kidding. I could clearly see the Cheerios logo on the other side. Now that's what I call recycling!
- greenyourdecor.com I just bought my first new home in August, which I love. The house sat empty for over a year, and the standing water in the toilet left me some crazy tough stains that I have not been able to get rid of, despite my best efforts and elbow grease. Today I tried Bowl Me Over for the first time and it removed the bulk of the stain that I had been unsuccessful in removing. I followed the directions on the back of the container and voila! Gone! I love simplyneutral products. They work so much better than any of the other products I have tried for cleaning. Thank you, Sara and Maggie, for such a great line of products that I can feel good about using in my home!
